Website Protocol – Nightly Cleaners

 

  • Report all difficulties to log-in to website to Website Admin (stacey.brown@wces.email) immediately to have problems rectified.

 

  • Before commencing your shift work, ensure one member of the team logs into the website
    • Open assigned project, view project messages and files on main screen
    • Check the previous night’s task to see if any work needs a follow-up and to see BCF response.
    • Check the current night’s task to see if there are special requests or notations.
      • Take note of comments on your paper Nightly Checklist Report so other team members know what needs to be addressed or special situations from previous night.

 

  • Please make a note on the tasks that you have checked messages [Checked Messages – “Name”]
    • If you are posting a message, please do so in only the most utmost professional manner. These messages are directly communicated with BC Ferries through email, and cannot be retracted or edited once posted.
  • At the end of your shift, please upload your nightly report in picture form. Attach this report to the task dated for the beginning of your shift.  For example, if you are filling out your sheet on the 23rd in the morning, it should be posted on the task of the 22nd when the shift started.
  • The paper copy of the report should be kept in a hard copy file and turned into WCES office at end of the month for records keeping.
