High Alert for staff:

DO NOT LEAVE ANY GAS CANS ONBOARD VESSELS EVER!!!

Incident report over the weekend a jerry can was left in a battery room onboard the Island Sky and wasn’t even sealed.

All West Coast Jerry can are signed out and signed in and are under lock and key!

Any staff member leaving gas on board will be automatic dismissal.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again staff a not so friendly reminder you have 2- 15 minute breaks and a half hour for lunch in your 8 hour shift.

You do not need to be told your 15 minutes are up or your ½ hour break, as we are not in kindergarten or elementary school.

You do not need to hold hands with a staff member to go back to work at your scheduled times.

You are all adults and need to each be responsible.

Staff DO NOT take mini breaks as they please or use their cell phones for personal use while working.

All supervisors have been alerted of the abuse by some staff using there cell phones for personal use and taking extra time for breaks and lunches- consider this your verbal warning, as this IS NOT acceptable.

AGAIN, any staff missing work due to sickness it is mandatory for a Dr.’s Note.

All paperwork needs to be filled out and documented for all absentee’s, time off needs to be authorized and any lateness-No special circumstances for any staff.
