Hello Everyone!
We hope you all had an enjoyable holiday season! We are excited to be back with the second half of refit in full swing!
All vacation requests must be submitted to the office by March 31, 2021 as per the Collective Agreement.
The office will respond to requests within one week of receiving.
Keep in mind, vacation requests will be approved on a first come bases, multiple staff may not be authorized to be off during the same time.
Complete your Vacation Request Form from your personal page on the website and submit.
In the near future, all staff will be notified of a course that they will need to complete in regards to Harassment and Violence in the workplace. This course will be mandatory as per new WCB and Federal regulations. More details to come.
ALL receipts (gas, visa, pretty cash, etc.) up to and including January 31, 2021 need to be submitted to the office by February 5 for our 1st quarter.
Reminder again, that ALL receipts need to have the van number and/or vessel name written on them.
Supervisors, please send DAILY to Candice a picture of the first page of your progress report for daily hours from now on (and as always, your whole progress report to the office).
This will be easier for her instead of receiving a text with various hours.
Couple of reminders from the Tool Box Meeting Candice held on January 11th.
1) If you unplug a van, roll up the extension cord and put with van. DO NOT leave plugged in lying in a puddle of water.
2) Garbage belongs in garbage cans that have a bag. No one should not have to take garbage out of a can that has no bag.
If you are sick for the day, you need to let the office & Candice know by 5:00pm that you are willing and able to work the next day for scheduling purposes.
If you notice that we are running low on a certain inventory item or items, please text Candice and let her know.
Don’t rely on someone else to get the message to her.
We would like to congratulate Rachel McDonald on her new position as Supervisor. She has started her training and her first boat will be the Queen of Cumberland.
We expect all staff to treat her with respect and assist her in anyway possible.
Have a nice weekend!
Chrissy Burbank
